Great service. Very friendly workers and provided suggestions on food and drinks. Jim was especially welcoming and knowledgeable about draft beer recommendations. I ordered the hot buffalo wings and they were the perfect level of spice and not drowning in cheap sauce like many others. They were smoky, crispy, and had some good heat. The platter was good, the loaded potato salad was great and seasoned well. The coleslaw was nostalgic classic coleslaw, also not drowning in dressing. Overall great small town restaurant atmosphere with good food and drinks.

Wow! It’s the only way to describe the food, service, and ambiance at Collins River. First, the rustic feel of the restaurant with the old brick walls is very homey. The food is delicious. I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs. They were hot, fresh, flavorful, and plentiful!! The onion rings, beans and corn bread was outstanding but my propped finishing the ribs and I did it. Last, but most importantly, I felt like a guest. The young guys at the front were friendly and helpful. I was even asked how everything was by the owner, Jim, an absolute gem of. Human being. He sat down and we chatted about life for a bit. You’ll never meet a more pleasant Staff. The bad news, I don’t live in TN but I know where I will be the next time I visit the state.

Excellent food and service! We were kind of a large party and they found us a place upstairs which was perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service! It was such a great experience!!!

Our tour guide from Cumberland Caverns recommended this place and it was AMAZING. We had the best waitress and the catfish dinner with sweet potato and fried squash chips was the best I have ever had. My hubby had the 1/2 slab ribs (meat fell off the bones - fork was needed), fried squash chips and collards and it was SO good. I am so glad we stopped and HIGHLY recommend. Yum

We had the best experience! 1st the server John was the best. Everyone there made us feel so welcomed. Now about the food, all 6 of us got something different and let me tell you everything was amazing. Cooked perfect. We will definitely be back soon. We drove over an hour and it was totally worth it.

If you are looking for a restaurant to book your next event Collins River BBQ is your place! We had our sons rehearsal dinner in the party room upstairs. The Owner Mr. Jim and the entire staff went above and beyond to meet every need and request. Our menu for the event was buffet style (2 meats, 3 sides and beverages) for 50 people. The food was served hot and fresh. The entire buffet was absolutely delicious. Thank You Collins River BBQ for an amazing experience! Would recommend 1000%!

Wonderful food fast and friendly service. Sweet potato fries are to die for and the fried pickle spears are so good! Barbecue was nice and Smoky good sauces. Mac and cheese and greens were great it realy hit the spot!

Great BBQ. We got the Trio Sampler. Pulled pork, ribs and brisket. Two sauces; hot and sweet. And it comes with a white horseradish sauce which is not hot but really flavorful. Comes with 2 cornbread muffins that are sweet and crispy in the outside and tender on the inside. Loaded potato salad is really good.
